Managing Consultant

Yi is an experienced Aviation Consultant, possessing a wealth of experience from working in the aviation industry. As airports identify factors that will contribute to their long-term success, Yi helps them craft strategies to achieve their vision. With her comprehensive history of experience in capital program management, airport master planning, aviation forecasting, terminal or airfield planning, and airport operation and management, Yi provides strong consulting services and presents high-quality deliverables to various port authorities and hub airports.

Currently serving as the Infrastructure Project Manager under the JFK Redevelopment Program, Yi oversees various airside improvement projects. She manages various elements of the Redevelopment Program by analyzing airport data from industry databases and using DY’s own collection of data points accumulated through extensive project experience. In past employment and coursework, Yi conducted data analysis by using SPSS Statistics and Excel, flight scheduling with INFORM GroundStar, and proven skills in simulation tools such as TAAM and Arena.

With seventy-five flight hours logged as a student pilot, she has gained a comprehensive understanding in aerodynamics, regulatory policies, human factors and operation safety. Yi is also an active member of Women in Aviation International.
