Prudence has over 11 years of experience specializing in aviation planning, airport design and project management. He has a wide array of expertise including airfield geometry improvement, runway system analysis, taxiway and apron capacity optimizations, airspace and obstruction analysis, construction safety and phasing planning, Air Traffic Control Tower siting, and heliport planning.
Applying his impressive skills, Prudence has managed and successfully completed various key projects at hub, regional and general aviation airports. His experience includes updating Airport Layout Plans (ALPs) for Newark Liberty International Airport and Northeast Philadelphia Airport, conducting technical reviews of airside basis of designs for JFK terminal redevelopments, conducting a Runway Safety Area study and Engineered Material Arresting System (EMAS) life cycle cost analysis for Philadelphia International Airport, performing an Airport Traffic Control Tower (ATCT) siting at Trenton-Mercer Airport, and many more.
Prior to joining DY Consultants, Prudence served as the Head of Planning and Engineering at the Rwanda Civil Aviation Authority. In that capacity he oversaw major projects such as the improvement of airfield infrastructure at Kigali International Airport, and master planning and design activities for a new greenfield Bugesera International Airport.
Prudence maintains an in-depth knowledge of FAA Advisory Circulars and Orders, as well as ICAO Standards and Recommended Practices (SARPS) pertaining to airport planning, design and operations.
