As the Engineer of Record for this Aircraft Terminal Parking Apron, DY Consultants are the Construction Managers for the rehabilitation and reconfiguration of the parking apron. This 9.8 Acre bituminous pavement with a macadam base course is being reconstructed with a new flexible pavement section. The project includes adjustments to Taxiway Delta, such that straight in access from the connecting taxiway is eliminated, as per recent requirements to FAA AC150/5300-13A, “Airport Design”. DY Consultants is responsible for Resident Engineering Inspection services as well as the Construction Administration services. Our primary responsibilities overseeing and insuring compliance to the plans and specifications, maintaining a level of operational safety and accounting for all quantities of materials installed for contractor payment.
