Central Terminal Area Redevelopment – JFK International Airport

Project Info

Project Description

JFK International Airport is the nation’s leading international gateway, with more than 80 airlines operating from approximately 150 gates. With 55 million annual air passengers and around 410,000 annual operations, a full and efficient utilization of the available real estate within the Central Terminal Area (CTA) has become an increasingly challenging and a very critical issue.

DY is currently working with the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey (PANYNJ) to redefine and rebalance landside, aeronautical and terminal capacity based on current and future operational demand.  The study covers assessment of future demand, airline alliances and market conditions to optimize existing infrastructure based on technological innovations and process redesign.
