Airport Master Plan – Westchester County Airport (HPN), New York

Project Info

Project Description

DY Consultants is preparing an Airport Master Plan for Westchester County Airport (HPN) that will guide the short-term and long-term development of the airport. HPN has experienced significant changes since the preparation of the last Master Plan and Airport Layout Plan (ALP), such as a shift in the composition of its terminal users, as well as various physical improvements to airport infrastructure and changes in aircraft technology and Federation Aviation Administration (FAA) and Transportation Security Administration (TSA) requirements. Following the guidelines established by the FAA, the HPN Master Plan development process includes a comprehensive inventory of existing conditions, aviation forecasts, assessment of demand capacity and facility requirements, and alternatives development and evaluation. An Airports Geographic Information System (AGIS) survey was also included as part of the study as was a Public Involvement Program (PIP).
